Dahab is unique in that over 20 sites provide easy shore access and are mainly reached by car. The region is particularly suitable for beginner divers due to its calm waters and shallow coral gardens. Having said that, advanced divers will certainly have plenty of fun at spectacular dives sites. These include “Canyon”, “Caves” and the wonderous “Blue Hole”. Macro enthusiasts can gaze at rare creatures, for instance seahorses, long-nose hawkfish, delicate slugs and various partner shrimps!
If you fancy a change you can join amazing night dives or peaceful early morning dives at usually crowded places. Additionally, short boat trips lead regularly to marvelous sites in the Nabq protected area. The pristine diving grounds in the Bedouin village Ras Abou Gallum can be reached on unforgettable, almost legendary camel safaris. On calm days it’s most wonderful to explore the stunning coral reef directly in front of the dive centre.
